Are you serious?
Yes we’re serious. TidyPet offers dog owners professional pooper scooper services at reasonable prices.
How often do you come?
Most customers choose the once a week service. You can choose to have us come more often or less often. See our pricing chart for other options.
Do you offer a single, one-time clean up service?
Yes we do. This is perfect for those times you need to “Tidy up" before a family gathering or show the house.
Where and what do you clean?
We remove waste from entire yards, dog runs, pens, kennels, decks, patios, and anywhere else your dog may do their business. We pay special attention to play areas for children and walkways.
Do we have to be home when you show up?
No. We do not require that someone is home during our visits. However if no one is going to be home we recommend that we meet with you and your dog and go over any security issues.
Can our pets be in the yard during the servicing?
YES. We enjoy the company of your pets while we work, as long as your pets are friendly. If your pets are going to be in the yard during any of our visits we request that you formally introduce us to your pet beforehand. If we show up and your dog makes it hard for us to get into the yard we simply skip that week’s visit, without billing you for it, for the first two visits. After the first two visits we bill accordingly.
How do I start my service?
Simply Request Service through our online form or call us at 214-5795.
What do you do with the dog dirt after you pick it up?
We double bag it and place in your outside trash can. If you prefer we can haul it away for $2 a bag. All tools and containers are disinfected after every service to avoid the chance of cross contamination.
What if it rains or snows?
If your dog is able to do their business then usually we are able to do ours. Heavy rain, snow, and extremely cold weather may stop us from making our route. If we are unable to make our route due to extreme weather conditions we do not bill you. We then reschedule or pick up the extra dog dirt on our following visit. Some customers put their service on hold during the winter months. We do need to charge a little extra for first following spring visit.
What happens in the fall if there is a time when leaves are covering my yard?
We cannot guarantee that we will find and remove dog waste that is covered by leaves. We always strive to remove all visible dog waste to prevent excessive accumulation.
What about holidays?
If your regularly scheduled visit falls on one of the following holidays, we will clean your yard either the day before or the day after the holiday:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Easter Sunday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
Am I locked into a contract?
There are no contracts for you to sign. Starting or stopping your service is as easy as calling us at 214-5795.
Can I reschedule or skip a service day?
Sure. Some people like to take their pets with them on vacation. Just give us 24 hours notice by phone and we will postpone your service until you return.
How do I pay?
We send out statements the end of every month. Statements are sent through US mail, email or can be left at your door. All payments are due by the 15th of the month for services performed during the previous month. A $5.00 charge is applied for all late payments and a $25.00 charge for all returned checks.
